To me, Country Stampede was never about country music, and for that reason, I kind of feel sorry for a college kid that never experiences it.

for the record, i don't much care for country music.
Used to be anti-Stampede. Eventually went on the last day (just to the campground) in 2002. Then went back in 2003 and 2004 and had a great time. Haven't been back since, so I don't know what it's like now. Probably pretty much the same.

Thomas Rhett is an absolute stud, Florida Georgia Line is just fun, Blake Shelton has just a ton of catchy songs you can sing along to, and Travis Tritt is a legend even though I didn't recognize as many of his songs as I would have liked. Craig Morgan is also one of my favorites and was really great.
