Cost of move is going to be about $600... total time involved is probably going to be about 5 hours tops. No stairs involved... No pianos or funky crap... Standard 2 BR Apt into a house... What's the norm? I was thinking $50 each guy. ( there are 2 guys and 1 truck) Thoughts?

Depends on if they eff up your stuff or not.

Is it a professional company or just some dudes from craigslist?
-
How many pianos?
-
$50 each sounds like too much for what you described. $20-$25 each plus a twelver of Busch Light.
-
I never knew this was a thing
-
did you hire them or is it employer paid relocation?
-
20 bucks per person. (Assuming they do a decent job.)
Gonna win 'em all!
-
some say the pro move is to provide a cooler with water, gatorade, etc and buy lunch in the same vein of tipping big on the first round at a crowded bar so the payoff is the service at the end of the day (or night) will be good.
-
divide the weight moved by the total number of plates of food at 2 lb per plate. multiply the resulting number by your average restaurant bill and tip %. divide by two. that's what you owe each guy.
-
It's 2 Men and a Truck.
-
I did $40 a person + a 12 pack recently, but there were stairs involved. Really shitty stairs.

Are they employees of the company or owner/operators?
I mean, if they are getting $9/hr from someone else, tip them well.

They are employees... I think $50 each is good... But I can't find any evidence to back that up. I would hope they are getting paid pretty well as I am paying their company $100 an hour.
-
They are getting like 12 an hour most likely
