I’m OK with the KFC double down. I’m planning on eating one this week. I saw a commercial last night, and when I saw them eating it in a paper wrapper, it suddenly made sense to me as a viable lunch food. Genius marketing…

I'm conflicted because Gottlieb is telling me to "crush my hunger" at KFC in one commercial, then telling me to get in the best shape of my life with p90x in the next.

chicken doesn't have many calories without the skin. the double down is loaded with sodium though and therefore it throughly disgusts me as an anti-sodiumite.

true story: Whole family has very low sodium levels and the MD tells us to eat as much salt as possible :driving:

I've been real proud of myself for not eating fast food this year and getting into shape. That said, this double down seems too absurd to be true and I want it. I want it bad. Its just un-fracking-believable that this is what it has come to. I think we had a thread on it back in the day so I was prepared and about 5 seconds into the commercial, before they said what it was, my eyes got wide and I was like "Its here."

I had one today with a side of mac and cheese and it did not disappoint. I probably won’t eat another one, as I think if I were throwing nutritional caution to the wind I’d rather have a cheeseburger of some sort. But I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who is considering it. Make sure and get the original recipe not grilled. You’re not getting a fair return of healthfulness on your investment of deliciousness.

Have not had the BK ribs, nor do I plan on them. To their credit, what I've read on the internet says a) they are actually real ribs and b) they taste decent. You just get a ridiculously small amount.
