Yeah, my grandpa would take me there when I was little. Placed bets for me (with his money) and I got to keep it if they won. In hindsight it was a really good deal for me.

I think I went to an NAIA Women's soccer game off Ak-Sar-Ben Road.  We'd then visit my great aunt who would take us around Omaha and tells us what things were by the name of the sign on the building.

Do you mean she'd read the signs to you? Like, "That's Applebee's ."

Or do you mean that she's tell you what the establishment offered in goods or services?  Like, "That place is a restaurant that serves up some very mediocre food."

Gonna win 'em all!

Is it state or city law to check the id on all credit card sales? I was carded literally every single time I used my cc. At every restaurant, every shop, every tourist attraction, even at the children's theatre.

It is actually against Visa's merchant policy to require ID (or even ask for ID if the card is signed).

That actually violates Visa's terms of use if the card is signed.

To be fair, if I ever had a fake CC, your name would be one of my top 3 choices to use.

Ak-Sar-Ben was a nice place. Loved it. Too bad so many don't realize that.
