China announced it was not going to buy one type of genetically modified corn. Farmers knew this and bought the corn seed. Market goes to hell because China not buying. Stupid decision by the farmer. Now a group of vulture lawyers want to sue the seed company by saying the should not have sold the seed to ignorant farmers. I am tired of these type of dumbass suits that clog our courts and drive prices up on everything.

My firm is lead counsel on that case and we're going to win hundreds of millions of dollars. So, eff yeah, lawyers rule.

FSD, I think good lawyers are needed for things like the Germanwings pilot, but it looks like to me lawyers are hatching up a make money lawsuit. Will thses law firms give their fees to farmers? Why don't farmers just not plant the gmo corn China hates. Why are grain handlers not being sued for not segregating gmo corn from the other corn? Trade organizations say this has resulted inan eleven cents per bu. drop in price. Low prices are a result of overplanting and less corn used for fructose for softdrinks as the fat bashers have convinced people to drink less pop - should we sue Mooooochelle?
-
We're not sharing hardly any money with the farmers. The rest of your questions are stricken because not relevant.

Mods can get we move this thread to cyclonefanatics.com? TIA

I'd expect the cheap beef and pork to lag behind the cheap corn. It takes some time to build up populations. Ranchers can expect to make a whole lot of money this year, though.

I am pretty happy for FSD, ITT.

Syngenta's corn seed wa approved for planting in the U.S., a legal product. I did not know that a seed company has to get approval from every nation in the world to sell product to farmers; I don't think this is the case. Cargill lost money when China quit buying corn with Syngenta gmo corn in it. Please esplain to me how a company selling an approved safe product can be held liable for another country refusing to buy that product. This seed I understand was approved for planting in 2010. Farmers did not have to buy the seed corn - buyer beware. It seems Cargill is pissed because of lost sales, and it sued. Now the legal dogpile has started. Oh, China is now buying this type of corn and Cargill is buying it.

Tolerances and MRL's are established in every country. Human consumption laws are different everywhere. No international law.
