I just thought about us playing WV (twice) next year and lol'd in real life (in my head, not in real life)
-
What is going on? :runaway:
-
we'll destroy them without staten. hope rhoedler (sp?) dunks in pregame just to screw with them.
-
Things are looking up! Nigel was doing pretty well at the end of last season. And how can the new guy be worse than Jevon? That is a serious question. As clams says, Jevon didn't look like a D1 player.
-
Nigel was doing pretty well at the end of last season.
WELL THAT'S GREAT FOR HIM!
-
steve dave is Nigel transferring too?
-
wtf is going on sd....wtf
-
ANSWER THE rough ridin' QUESTION STEVE DAVE YOU STUPID bad person
-
guys, all I'm saying is that we're completely f'd in the a. F'D IN THE A!
-
How do you stop #pressvirginia?
You #Vulture all over them!
-
Rholeder is better than Jevon,
-
guys, all I'm saying is that we're completely f'd in the a. F'D IN THE A!
Are or are you not insinuating Nigel will not be on the team next year? ANSWER THE QUESTION
-
Vulture? Hardly know her!
-
Rholeder is better than Jevon,
5:3 assist to turnover ratio (literally 5 and 3!). Seems pretty good.
-
Frank Richards will be rolling over in his grave when he sees how we PG in 15-16
-

-
I'm completely done. I was mostly done before this. But now its all the way done.
-
I bet Jermaine Maybank rolls over in his grave too
-
So many PG opportunities for Wes.
-
Is Dez walking through that door?
-
So many PG opportunities for Wes.
Yes! I like this. I can Rhol with it.
-
So seriously....is this another brace yourselves type thread?
-
Is Dez walking through that door?
I'm pretty sure we'll take whoever is Willing-ham to play. Go Cats.
-

My brain isn't working well enough this morning to come up with a punny retort. +2 internets to you sir.
-
I won't believe that Nigel is gone until Spencer Kietzman starts calling him a drug addict
-
So seriously....is this another brace yourselves type thread?
Yep.
-
SD, please change thread title to something like "Nigel is gone too, we are F'd in the A!"
-
someone hold me
-
Lookie here, another kid's handlers are out to screw oscar Weber

I don't recall saying that PETE
-

Yes! I like this. I can Rhol with it.
he might end up being the only guy that can handle the ball but he also might end up being one of the only guys over six foot five. quite the pickle on where to play him.

Every. Damn. Play.
-
If Pete's insinuations about Nigel transferring are correct, you got to wonder just what in the heck is going on with oscar's cats. Nigel gets a bunch of playing time and praise at the end of the year, his primary competition at his position leaves, and now he decides oscar isn't the coach for him?
-

yeah, that IS weird
-
Nigel is obviously getting dismissed.
-
For pot, of course.
-
It's like, after playing for him awhile his players hate playing for him and want to get away from him. We need a players coach
-
Did Nigel sit for three consecutive games?

Did you guys watch Nigel single handedly beat Bill Self? Best part of the entire season!!!!

those leaves just say we are F'd. which we are. right in the A. I don't know anything else for certain.

might be our best option. then he can kick it out to hurt for an 18 footer if needed.

I did, but all the chicken wing stuff kind of made me forget about the point guard play in the game itself.
-
Outside-the-box idea if Pete's info is correct: recruit and sign Marcus Foster to play PG.

Pretty sure it's been posted in this blog that if a player transfers within the conference he has to sit out 2 years :dunno:

Sign a former all league player, let him sit out a year, and have him for his SR year?

here's a plan- redshirt pretty much everyone next year and then the year after we play in the blue bonnet independance bowl! :emawkid:

exciting ideas in here now
I was trying to fix the hypothetical point guard problem for 15-16. There's some dispositive holes in my plan, but yeah, it's good to get all our creative juices flowing as we tackle this issue.

Teen Wolf
-
I want a 6'9" point guard to run a fast break style game. We could call if SHOWTIME. That would be really great.
Gonna win 'em all!
-
no way nigel leaves.
-
oscar will find a way to keep him! IWWT!
-
Where There's a Weber There's a Way!
No Weber No Nigel
Know Weber Know Nigel
-
I think the biggest question with Nigel is/was . . . is Weber the one holding the guy back?
I think Nigel is pretty good, man.
-
I bet Edwards is a run and gun point guard hero and will be unleashed on EMAW next season. Prob why he struggles this season. His natural fit must be point and not forward.

Crap, looks like KU already signed him up!!! :curse:

i think oscar is trying to follow hoiberg's lead by becoming another transfer u, except he has it opposite. i'm not sure.

I dunno, I've heard good things about open schollie

Free Agency Fred is really good at it though.
oscar got Edwards and Bolden. I guess Edwards might be decent next year, don't know though.

Hurt is a Fred like player. Too bad the staff couldn't get him in better shape. Never really had a shot.
-
You know what I'm starting to think this oscar Weber guy isn't all he was cracked up to be.

You think KSU is waiting to make this official until the end of the day and right when the sweet 16 starts to keep it out of the news cycle for the most part until next week?
-
Message boarding was, like, invented for sports seasons like next year.
-

I don't see what the point would be anymore. Your bonfire isn't going to go up 5,000 degrees just by throwing 1 more pallet on top of 12 ones burning already.
-

Friday at 4:51 PM, I bet.
-
it's nigel johnon. who would care if he's leaving or staying?
-

Friday at 4:51 PM, I bet.
I figured they could do it today with a lot of the local attention on wsu (they play today, right?).
Remember when they trotted out oscar a few hours before the final 4 started and when all of the national media types that had mocked oscar all year would be tied up for another 4 days? Yeah, a sink got broken and there was some riff-raff in the parking lot, but they escaped a lot of ridicule with that timing.

can you imagine how great it would be if this type craftiness was used to win games

Strut 'n Cut Seattle has won 2 straight games by forfeit with some questionable mind games.

Tucks' wet dream. They'll compare him to Ron Baker all season and rave about how good he will be because Baker didn't get this level of experience coming out of HS (he redshirted his first year at WSU).

Have we had a worse footing for our program than the one oscar's kingdom now sits on?

One of us should walk on and play PG.

If oscar is gonna kick all of the scholarship players off. Might as well have walk ons and play hard charts obviously make the player in oscar's eyes.
