IMO Barnes at TX. Underwood might look attractive to them.
-
I still say Barnes stays in Austin because they don't really care about hoops, but there does seem to be a growing group of boosters vocally against him.
Underwood at UT would be fun -- except, not for us. Watching SFA last night reminded me of some quality ball in the not so distant past in MHK. Love the way SFA plays.

Yeah, those 50 points they scored was impressive alright.
-
Texas AD says he's not ready to talk about Barnes' future yet.
-
Yeah, those 50 points they scored was impressive alright.
I'm not going to even the list the reasons why this comment was so stupid, but I think you know what they are.

No. All coaches stay unless free agent Fred goes to the Bulls.

can you do a advanced breakdown for that game? The offense looked like a brucefense at times last night. I hadn't watched them until last night and was expecting a faster paced game.

Can you imagine if hoi left? There would be more suicides than Hale Bop.

They play very slow on offense, (slower than KSU, actually) - all their pace comes from defense. Plus Utah is one of the slowest teams on offense in the country which probably largely negated SFA's attempt to create pace on defense.

I don't have the pace for last night's game, but the fighting Brads averaged 68.2 possessions per game this year (like michcat said though, most of that comes from defense). They only scored 50 points last night, but that has a lot to do with Utah being an absolute lockdown defensive monster, and the talent disparity between a P5 team and a team from the Southland. Utah held 10 teams to 50 or fewer points this season. Half of those teams were P5 teams. They held three P5 teams to under 40 points this season. I thought all things considered, SFA had a pretty nice showing last night.

I yearn for the day when we have a coach who can put up a decent showing (tuck for lose) against a juggernaut like Utah.
