Title: My Two Dads
Post by: AppleJack on February 25, 2015, 11:06:15 AM
Who do you guys think was Nicole's real dad? I bet it was Joey.

What an odd television program. Some chick was sleeping around, has a kid, and then some crazy judge/landlord awards joint custody of Nicole? What? Then they all live together? This is too much. Very progressive for the late 80's, no?

A 'where are they now' on Nicole would be pretty sad I'd bet.

Yes, Joey was the biological father. That was always my feeling.

I can't believe that Michael would have sex with the lady without a condom, so it must have been Joey. Did they not have paternity tests in the 80's?

The antique truck chair was my favorite part of the apt.

I think they did, but then they decided to not open the results.

ya. As I recall they lived in Joey's loft. And the Judge owned the building? How did this get green-lit?

Mrs. Gooch - I also recall there was an episode about the paternity test that Michael and Joey both took. Nicole received it in the mail and set it on fire. She didn't want to know.

OK, yes I sort of remember that. It makes sense that IF they had done a paternity test after she had lived with them both that she might not want to know which was her real father. It doesn't make sense that the paternity test came that late.

Do you guys remember that episode with Davy Jones?

I thought that elevator was so cool.  When the Minnesota Guys that just got busted for their Wichita dealings showed me their plans for Exchange Place, one of the units had one and I was all "I'm gonna have a My Two Dads elevator door!"

Didn't Joey paint pictures of people on their walls? I think this is the show that led me to ask my dad to let me paint on my bedroom walls, which then eventually led to me spray painting all over my bedroom walls....then painting the walls black so I could spray paint over them some more...and generally getting high on spray paint fumes.

So glad M2Ds is finally getting the attention it deserves on this blog. For the record, this is the show that made a young SB believe that a spiral staircase and dimmer switches automatically made one rich.

Because nothing screams rich like two unrelated thirty-something dudes sharing an apartment in the building owned by the judge that sentenced them to both be parents together. Dat truck chair doe

There are some mini-sodes on You Tube. Basically all the fluff is cut out and each episode is reduced to 5 minutes.

I think it all comes down to purpose here, SB.

Are you going for function? Productivity? Physical well-being? Stick with the semi-standing back saver chair.

More of a stylish, "holy crap, it's a antique velvet truck. THAT I CAN SIT ON!" Well, then I believe the choice is quite obvious.

T's and P's during this tough time, bud. I know you'll make the right choice.
