Title: Ashes, Ashes, It has burned down!!!
Post by: AndrewVonLintel on February 18, 2015, 07:52:35 PM
oscar Weber is the walking dead at this point. Currie will probably get him through this year but in 12 months we will be getting a new coach.

I don't remember ksu basketball scoring so few points in a (first) half so many times in one season.

well, when you go up against an opponent such as TCU, you can only expect so much

I figured we would score 5 baskets in the first 20 minutes so when we only scored 4, I was a little taken aback but King DeBruce will make halftime adjustos and right the ship

The issue is this:

Where is this program going?

We lose Gipson and Nino.

Edwards and Hurt and Vulture are already going to be Seniors next year.

I hate beating the rotting composting horse but damn this hurts.

i've really enjoyed kellis's coverage this year. seems like he's having the best year of anyone involved with ksu hoops.

TCU, up 35-15 over K-State at half, is looking to set the record for victory margin at the Fort Worth ISD Invitational

@KellisRobinett
TCU is an improved basketball team, but Kansas State is making the Horned Frogs look the Mavericks.

@KellisRobinett
oscar Weber currently yelling simple instructions to his team: "Let's play with some energy. Come on, get it going."

Kinda looking forward to PulitzerDave's bildungsroman excusing oscar. When does he normally post those? Do I have to wait 'til tomorrow morning?

Hence the comeback attempt. If the refs hadn't let us maul TCU in the second half, and if TCU had cared enough to try, they could have really embarrassed us tonight. We're an afterthought for TCU basketball  :frown:

Don't we have some white savior from Saint John's, KS, or some other hotbed of athletic talent, coming in next season? If so, why worry? We'll win the play hard chart.

Listened to that game on the radio as a kid. Byron Houston destroyed them. How many points did they score? 34 or something?

Yeah, but I know "I wish Frank was still here" nation is going to try and say other programs would have looked the other way.   No, every program has the line that cannot be crossed.
frank sucks (still tasting farts), underwood is unknown (oscar resume), Huggs hasn't woke up since the weekend and has no clue what's going on, dalone hill is in jail, colorados coach is in in the cbi (but done) and we still don't know if oscar can go without treats. What do we do? :dunno:

I know you hate Frank but he would have at least got us into the tournament every year. His personality probably bumped us up at least 1 seed line
