Jeb should be our next President. He is the only candidate on either side who has been a successful governor, he would surround himself with smart people, he has good ideas, and is practical. He does notcome off like GW - a dimwitted tTexas crawdad eater. He is the counter Obama and is needed to save America from sliding into the abyss old worthless nations.
-
He is a gentleman. Held a door open for me once while he was governor.
-
Jebediah Bush vs Hilary Rodham Clinton for the whole enchilada.

His daughter liked drugs a lot. Once while she was under lock and key after a stint in rehab, she tried to get a friend of mine to bring some drugs to the governor's mansion and throw them over the fence. He was like, "ARE YOU rough ridin' CRAZY!?!?!? NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!"

I appreciate how Jeb isn't part of the crazy far right. A moderate right candidate is probably the rights shot at this thing.

This is a good story

Yeah. The only criticism I've heard toward Jeb is that he's George's brother, which makes me think he's probably a strong candidate.

his views skew medium which sounds pretty good in comparison to a lot of the other competitors

i like his story and some of his rhetoric. i'd probably vote for him if he wasn't a bush.

I don't know myself. But there are two members of the militant liberal arm of the family who like ol Jeb.

If he doesn't have to go hard right to out crazy the crazy and win the primary, he will probably win the general election.

Totally. Worked in 2008 and 2012.

barry hussein isn't walking through that door

When people ask actual conservatives who they want for president, Scott Walker appears to be the heavy favorite, followed by Cruz/Rubio/Paul. Jeb's not even in the picture. I don't think anyone has told the GOP beltway donor base.

His turnout machine is, unless he decides to not help Hillary out (which I guess I could see happening).

Welp. Sounds like we should expect a hard right turn to out crazy crazy. Sad. I wish the republicans would allow a decent moderate to run. unfortunately, they have mumped that up for some time now. I mean, McCain would have danced his old ass into office if he didn't have to actually pretend to take that other primary cast of characters seriously. Legitimizing them and then taking on Sarah cost him everything.

-
Right now, the only real function cruz/rubio/paul have to play is to see how unelectable they can make Jeb look to the rest of the country while Jeb wins the primary.

Again, chasing "moderate" voters while alienating the conservative base is a losing strategy. How can there even be debate about that?
