I already solved this.  Texas is doing so well that it skews the numbers for the entire country.

When your president thinks economic policy is punitive taxing and free community college, you've elected a moron

Finally, between 4.5 million and 7.5 million taxpayers received subsidies for insurance premiums when they signed up for coverage on Obamacare exchanges. They will have to use Form 8962 to reconcile their actual 2014 income with the amount they estimated when they applied for a policy in late 2013 or early 2014.

Those who underestimated their income either will receive smaller tax refunds or will owe the IRS money.

It's always the President's fault, didn't you learn anything from 2001-2008 lib?

Damn . . . bro

Are you mad that it's ingrained in the American psyche that Bush and Cheney were huge pieces of crap?

Should the press not have pointed that out?

Which they'll never pay, and the IRS will never attempt to collect.

Wait a damn minute.  Are you saying that ppl who underestimated their annual income, may owe the IRS more tax than they thought when originally estimating their income?  WTF, Obamacare?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I think it's great that the subsidy counts as income. I wasn't expecting that, really.

Oops, I thought this was talking about the "penalty" for not obtaining coverage. The only way the IRS can collect that penalty is by deducting it from any refund due. So if you don't plan on buying insurance, don't withhold enough money that the government will owe you a refund at the end of the year.

Of course, most of the people who won't buy insurance are probably poors who get a "refund" due to tax credits despite not actually paying any income taxes, so the gov can at least deduct the penalty from those refunds. Good thinking Dems!

I think many of the people that signed up for Obamacare put down that they made less than they really did to get a much bigger subsidy not knowing they will be caught. They are in for a rude awakening as to the real cost of their nearly free healthcare. People are dumb.

Yeah, I have an uncle who always rants about quitting his job and letting Obama take care of him. Actually, he got laid off a few months ago. I usually make a point to not be at any family functions he's going to be at, but thinking about it, I kind of wish I had seen him at Christmas so I could ask him how great life is with all of his new found Obama money.

Tell him he can get disability just by saying he has anxiety about being unemployed, or say his back hurts.

Depending upon how much he made before and how much he has saved for retirement, he might be doing just fine on his Obama money. Especially if he claims disability as Dougie points out. He can even have a free cell phone!

Yeah, but he's a white guy.  Just imagine how easy he would have it if only he was a single mother with like four kids!

He'd be getting food stamps, Obama phones, welfare, free healthcare, tax credits and tax refunds, free housing.  It would be a pretty easy life.

If you add in that he was an illegal immigrant single mom he could even have "her" kids get a free education, healthcare and citizenship for themselves and her!  With Obama's amnesty, a fake ID and some want to she can probably even vote a couple times for some more free stuff when Hillary runs.

He could work for cash under the table while still getting everything, easily pull in 50K to 60K, tax free.

That would be illegal, so obviously people aren't doing that.  :nono:

I think you're trying to be sarcastic, but you're actually doing a pretty effective job demonstrating the problem with our expansive welfare state.

Yeah, I couldn't find anything untrue in any of his statements except the "easy life" part. It takes time and effort to deal with any government office visit, especially with kids.
