I'm going to have five hours or so to kill in dallas next week. this seems v weird but also interesting so let's talk about it and whether or not i should go. i will be solo which i think cranks up the weird factor a little bit but not sure.
quick rundown- largest korean spa in the US. 9 unique sauna rooms with crystals and weird crap. most hot. one super cold. multiple soaking tubs, a movie theater, bar areas, food court.

Uh yeah, don't go there... That is, unless you want to feel unbelievably rejuvenated and 1,000 feet tall.
-
dont think 5 hours is enough time, honestly
-
a slightly weird thing about the place- it's open 24 hours and you can sleep there. like, spend the night.
-
I'm trying to come up sighs a reason to not go and can't
-
more info- there are common areas where people wear clothes but part of the spa is dividing into no clothes male only/women only areas. like the hot tubs and saunas are same sex only and no clothes. will this be weird? seems it might be. dunno.
-
the only way it would be weird is if you didn't live blog it

Reviewed October 17, 2014 via mobile I have spent years avoiding SPA's and anything like public nudity.
Check your shoes and body hang ups at the door and just do it.
I just turned 52 and while pracing around naked at a SPA is not on my bucket list doing things I have been ashamed or scared to do all of my life is.
King SPA is a Korean bath house based on traditions of eastern medicin and the Korean people.
I had been reading others reviews and comments and none of this really comforted me. I have lost a bunch of weight, I am riddled with surgery scars and burns in general I really did not want to go show this unit to the folks lounging about at the SPA.
Well I did it. To my surprise the hardest part was all in my head. I had an awesome time. I even ordered up the King SPA body scrub and massage.
I have to tell you once that little Korean guy started working on me I was butter in his hands. Yes it is strang to be laying on a table naked as the day you where born with a little Korean guy scribing on you and washing EVERY part of you, But if you surrender to the process it is extremely relaxing and liberating.
So while I was hanging out in the SPA tubs I saw people of all shapes, sizes and colors and guess what? That's right we all were naked!!! It was to me natural and safe once I got over the shock to my over protective self preservation lizard brain telling me run!!!
Now that I have done this I am going to try sky diving, I may even try doing it naked!

I hope you don't get a boner! :ohno:

After reading the quick rundown: Absolutely!
After seeing pics: Looks yucky!
Final verdict: Absolutely!

If you don't go now, then something is very wrong with you.
Also, I think you did a great job of slow playing the Leland review. I would have led with it and the entire thread would have collapsed around itself.
Gonna win 'em all!

dont be surprised if men take close examinations of your junk. apparently it is a customary and completely normal thing to do in that part of the world (far East not Dallas)

yes!

any place that plays kfc ads on a big screen is worth visiting

What if you never want to leave?
-
Does it have a fixed entry fee? If it's steep, I'd want to spend more than 5 hours there.
-
Where do you put your wallet?
-
Check your shoes and body hang ups at the door and just do it.
I'll bet if you go in that super jetted tub you'll come out a new man.

Do they have a shuttle from the airport?
