I'd have to think a 2-14 Big 12 record would get oscar fired instantly, even Wooly usually did better than that.
-
Losing 14 in a row to end the year? JC Weber's cake would be unleavened bread at that point.
-
One can say we are going to lose that many games, but when you see what that really looks like, it really hits home.
-
oscar Weber will be fired if he loses the last 14 games of the season, and that would absolutely be the right call.
-
I hope oscar remembers history (and doesn't repeat it).

Completely different schedule and completely different team. That is losing an ok team. If he get run out this year he never had the team.
-
KSU is now 8-12 against the last 20 games against major conference schools.
0.400
3-7 in the last 10 games against major conference schools.
0.300
This is not a new trend.
-
Residual Frank washing off.
-
you know that there's no way he gets fired right? I mean, that conference trophy he tripped and fell on will keep him employed for a while

It could get pretty bad, I expect him to deploy the Paul Rhoads excuse maker any day now.
-
First yr trophies are easily seen through, even if not crystal.

The only good thing is most of our fans won't buy it.

They will eat it up at first, but they won't fall for two and a half seasons of it like the idiots in iowa.

Currie is barreling toward a very awkward time.
His basketball hire is on course to make him look incompetent, and the football coach is angling to wrestle the "football hire" out of his hands in the very near future.
I bet Currie bails, and soon.
-
:blank:
I mean what in the eff? How the eff is this being tolerated?
-
the good news is, after currie is gone, we'll have very good football facilities, very good basketball facilities, some new soccer crap, baseball meh.
he can't take that crap with him. i only hope that the animal isn't too loyal to currie after he fucks up hiring oscar, not firing oscar and the brady hoke football hire.

The Animal will never fire Currie, he is an ATM
-
basketball revenues are hurting, imagine if we turned on football too after spending ~$250M on facilities to support both programs
-
going to games is actually way more fun than i thought. it's like, people used to go to half watch basketball and half watch frank and you can totally do the same thing with oscar. actually i'd say time best spent at a basketball game is 60% watching oscar and 40% watching the game. he's hysterical. kstate needs to market his sideline hilarity more.
-
There are really only two games left on that schedule, in the Athletic Department front offices. January 31st, and February 23. Win one, and all will be forgiven in those offices.

sounds like you have a great opportunity to begin the "sidelines with oscar" youtube series you've been wanting to start.
will watch. #subscribed
-
i'm just saying, if ticket sales are down then they should start a campaign hilighting his sideline antics. like all the ridic hilarious stuff he does and then something like "come for the oscar, stay for the basketball" or maybe flip flop that or something because he's pretty hard to take your eyes off of. frank would be boring 95% of the game just sitting and talking to undy and then go crazy for 5%. oscar is constant entertainment.

Season tickets where up from last year, I can't imagine that they are hurting that much
-
&Rick D-
All that needs to happen is for Marcus, during an ESPN interview) to imitate the sideline antics of Weber. (Of course, espn isn't walking thru that door)
Gonna win 'em all!
-
We're going to hire Underwood, aren't we?
-
Would take!
-
Would take!
I would too, but remember, he won with another coaches players last year and has already lost 3 games this year.

He did however crush LBSU. :bawl:

I am not concerned with that, Brad's experience here with Dalonte had to make him a big believer in hiring and paying the right kind of assistants.
-
That showdown on February 16th will be telling for Underwood's squad. Could determine if this was a successful year or not.
-
Would take!
+1
-
SFA fans are really unappreciative of Brad. I posted this in the SFA football thread earlier, but I had a real life interaction with a couple dozen SFA fans/alums this summer. Only one of them knew that Brad Underwood was their bball coach. Come home Brad.
-
Doesnt Brad super hate Currie?
-
probably
-
I thought they had a shitty relationship due to Jamar, Frank, etc, but then Currie promised some money to keep brad, cut the money in half, then hired someone else? Seems like I remember a pretty good pick socking out of all this on Brad's part?
