I didn't get to watch. It sounded like we beat a bad team badly. The Bolden block on twitter/vine was cool.

Do you think we intentionally sped up the game in the second half or we just broke into transition more often? At the rate we were able to score I feel like we should be trying to have as many possessions per game as possible.

It seemed like it was somewhat intentional, since we weren't passing the ball around the top of the key for the first 25 seconds of the shot clock before trying to do anything like we have the past two years.

Smart people believe SUU is a better team than they were last year. Still pretty bad.

Bad team or not, it's good to see our offense be very productive. 61% 2pt, 56% 3pt, 71% FT, 104% FTR,

FYI FAN.... You might make correction on our TOs. We had 12 for the game.  I think they had 14 TOs 2nd hf, so accidentally we were put with 14 too 2nd hf ( we had 7).   That made our A/TO ratio a solid 1.58

Be nice when we get Wes and Niño back here soon

We had zero points in transition in the first half and their zone was slowing us way down.  We got a bunch of turnovers that lead to transition for our 22-8 run out of the gates and that sped the game up, we also put a bit more full court pressure off made baskets in the 2nd.  I think considering the inexperience on the floor I think we played with more confidence overall in the 2nd half whereas in the first there were a number of defensive and offensive miscues and the guard play in particular was very hesitant.

It's too bad we're a shitty rebounding team, because I think this team could run.

there's absolutely no reason we should suck at rebounding and not be able to run.  we could if it was an emphasis.

The good thing about being a shitty rebounding team is that it also means your team is going to shoot 55.6% from 3 all year.  :bball:
