Title: Running Vegas
Post by: Canary on November 14, 2014, 07:07:16 PM
Tonight I board a plane and head to Viva Las Vegas. I have gone every year for a while now to run my heart out. I'll post the details in this thread. Can't wait to get away from this cold weather and check my phone upon landing to see a big victory. I just pray the sandstorm stays in the octagon. :D

You don't mean running literally, right?

Or, like, going for a weekend bender with your running crew?

Maybe he is running from his problems? Just gonna ball out in vegas for a weekend and hope everything works itself out by the time he gets back?

Solid plan if this is the case.

I think Rake does early-morning runs with his legs on the strip sometimes.

I dislike these people.  What a pain in the ass it must be to run the strip.

If I didn't drink pretty much constantly I'd be running ultra marathons like every day. Would be so easy.

Who are you calling crazy? Mini marathon is a nice warmup distance.

The run itself was great. On Saturday the temperature was 72. By race time Sunday evening it was 48 and windy. And Las Vegas is always a great time, so there's that. I have been going out there for this event for several years, running sometimes and sometimes not. Would highly recommend the Rock n Roll event in any city you can find it.
