In this thread we confirm/validate our LOL at LFBIQ morons with HFBIQ expert _FAN.
In Ubben's latest pregame huddle (http://www.foxsports.com/southwest/story/the-pregame-huddle-week-11-110514) he says the following:
"Most teams across the Big 12 employ a 3-4, 4-3 or some mixture of the two. TCU built a rock solid defense around Gary Patterson's famed 4-2-5 alignment. "
LOL WHAT A MORON! I don't think I've seen KSU or most other Big 12 schools with 3 linebackers on the field for more than a hand full of snaps in short yardage situations. Nickel or 4-2-5 is the new standard.
:shy: Right _FAN?

My observo's says 3LB's here and there, and that's about it.

Yes, most teams against spread offenses have 5 defensive backs on the field. Also, many LBs and safeties are pretty much indistinguishable and you can almost say DEs and LBs are as well. Really, most teams might have 2 or 3 defensive linemen on the field surrounded by a bunch of LBs and Ss. That's part of why our power running game is at times so effective.
