Title: Did Burton lose his stone hands?
Post by: CATILLAC on November 02, 2014, 12:10:22 PM
It was nice to see him make some good catches yesterday (after dropping so many previous passes), and he appeared to get pretty good separation from the secondary. but now has to improve his "tip e tap" approach on the sideline.

He's going to be really good.

I was at the texas and okie lite games and he looked much better.  Like a legitimate receiver.

The other thing that struck me, against XEROX State, was Hubener. He's tall... I didn't think we went after full sized humans? Throw a 7 jersey on him and it's like the second coming of CK.

You guys are so rough ridin' stupid sometimes. He's a damn sophomore, he never had stone hands. Catching balls at division 1 game speed has to be the easiest thing ever.

don't know what this means but I'm definitely going to use it as a catch-all for every opponent we play from here on out.

Wait... XEROX State doesn't = OSU here? I can roll with Okie Lite, Fightin' T. Boones, even Vaqueros for my Latin friends.

I'll give it some thought. It gets a little confusing, with my Oregon State people. And XEROX State is a thing, at least in most other parts of the world, it is. I'll get back to you. And for the record, Deante did make me say "Did he really catch that?!" twice last night.
