Raised my desk last Nov.  It's pretty great.  Takes a while to get used to, but it keeps me from the 2pm energy crash and I have a lot more energy basically all of the time than I used to.

Sitting all day at a desk can cause your hip flexors to tighten up, which can cause back pain. I've found that the couch stretch helps. Sorry about the bro speak, but he explains it well.

I have super pud posture. Yesterday I was sitting and knew I would be sitting for 20 minutes and I was like, "Hey SB. Let's scoot all the way back in this chair so our spine aligns with the chair and sit up straight the entire time and then see if that correct posture makes a difference when we stand up." It made a difference. No pain. Probably should sit that way more. :frown:

I was traveling for like two weeks and thinking about how much you sit when you travel. Like, pretty much the whole time. People even sit while they wait at the airport, meanwhile I'm walking around like crazy and literally boarding the plane as late as possible.

In my head something funny to do would be to take an exercise ball with you everywhere you go and when you are ready to sit maybe you like have a pump with you and you inflate it and sit down on it. And then you like deflate it and put it back in your pocket when you are done.

I don't know if I believe in chiropractors. But I'm going to have to start trying stuff. I bought a lumbar support pillow, which is something 65 year old men use but now I do too because I suck

You probably lean a little, tense up the arm you steer with a little, or sit just slightly askew in your seat.

You need to go see a neurosurgeon (probably the surgeon's physician's assistant).  Then, ask them to refer you to a pain center, where they can give you and epidural in your back.  If you have good insurance, you can skip to just making an appointment at a pain center. They might have you get X-rays or and MRI first.  You we feel as if a miracle cure has been given to you.

i enjoy sitting in the morning with my tea. I over look the river and the sheer curtains are light enough to blow, reaching out for my face it a slight breeze comes along a kisses the wind.

I get paid to sit at a desk, I get paid to sit on faces. Sitting.

That depends on the position of the pocket.  Sometimes I can do that comfortably and other times I take my wallet out.
