Mr. President you have tried your best to push gas to $5 per gallon. Well I just paid less than $3. Still not good, but going in the right direction - no thanks to your administration. Keep up the good work you heathen capitalistic oil men. Keystone, fracing, and oil independence all are great. There still hope of surviving the earther enviromentalist who worship rocks, trees, squirrels and such.
-
I bet Obummer is going to sign an exec order making gas at least $5/gal, mandatory before he leaves office.
-
Renocat brigs a cannoncat level of zeal that I appreciate
-
I really, really like "earther".
-
Energy independence is great and I love that it is all happening just to spite the predident. That guy could eff up anything. Pretty much a.miracle that he didn't mess up something as simple as lowering gas prices.
Do you guys thunk Putin is behind this, just to big time Our Weakling in his own backyard? That is where my money is at.
-
It's awesome that the USA is now the worlds biggest producer of oil. Just imagine what we'd be pumping out without all the restrictions on federal leases? Might even be below $2 a gallon.
-
In your rough ridin' face obuttlicker
-
Darn, whelp. Looks like that Pelosi post Obama election hearing on gas prices isn't going to happen after all. She was one mad lady when gas prices went up during the previous administration. Calling for congressional investigations and the whole, as they say, nine yards.
-
I thought gas prices were part of the right wing conspiracy
-
I thought we were all talking about how gas prices are going down.

Yup, Obama is so incompetent that he can't even keep gas prices high
-
pretty great thread title imo

Read yesterday where OPEC is seeking to undermining our oil shale development by lowering their crude prices. I like low oil prices, but not if it destroys our chance at energy independence.

Yeah screw the free market

Yeah screw the free market
OPEC is the antithesis of free market.
-
I read that OPEC plans to do this but that the pentagon thinks that they can't keep their prices low enough to hurt shale oil for more than 6 months. I would guess that we are about to subsidize shale oil harvesting(harvesting?).

Yeah screw the free market
They are when competing with domestic producers
OPEC is the antithesis of free market.

 Obama is really pulling to strings with this issue!
-
Hot dang it. 1.56 per gallon, burn gas like a drunken banshee. Shove the fuel pump up your earther butts too, and use grease made from oil not.some organic crap made from bat guano.

Love when jd bitches about California gas prices
($2.36 in contra costa Co.!)
-
These prices are remarkably low
-
Are they low because our economy is remarkably bad?
-
They are low because of supply vs demand. Now that the omnibus allows us to sell our oil abroad, I expect the cost per barrel on oil to go up and with it the cost of gas per gallon.

I wouldn't live in Contra Costa county.
not that there's anything wrong with it.....
-
I wouldn't either :D
-
since I moved to California, I literally never know/care how much gas costs. Just give me the cleanest station and none of that Arco bullshit.
-
It's really weird how much prices vary from station to station. I'm assuming it's individual city taxes. Literally saw 2.30-2.90 yesterday

So I kind of lied. There are two gas stations on opposite sides of the freeway near my house, but one is a bigger pain to get to (turning in and out). The hard one to get to is always like 20 cents cheaper, but man is it a pain so I always go to the easy one.

my god, how i hate arco. i would fight a war against them if someone would lead it.

I refuse to use Arco. Those pay station things plus the $.45 charge to use a debit card can GTFO.
