I would like for the attorney cats to chime in and tell me whether we got a lawsuit from this event or not. Some are saying there is a disclaimer on the back of the tickets about running out on field. I'm just not sure that since a coach body-slammed him and not an officer that there could be some legal repercussions.
-
The boat-shoe idiot probably has a rich Daddy and a trust fund...so they "could" lawyer up. Doubt anything comes of it even if he's injured. The University can paper work them to death and that'll be the end of it.
-
Did anyone else see the FotF at BSFS this last Saturday? It's okay if you didn't, most people had left the stadium by that point anyway.

Ya, he came out of th north end zone in front of us. Excellent parenting since his mom is yelling the whole time that is my son! Don't know if tey caught him or not. The cheerleaders were funny to watch as they had no idea what to do.

did he yell "CITIZENS ARREST" before the hit? this is important to judge the legality of his actions.
-
The coach should be charged with assault.

This would actually be a lot more problematic.

I have a degree in Medieval Law. I think that makes me qualified. In this case, if no bones were broken then he is OK, otherwise some chickens will need to exchange hands. If the tackled guy was a member of the nobility, then we have a whole new canne of wyrms.

Not enraged, just :blank: over your WabashWackyCat08 posting of late.
Disappointing.
You need too do better, a lot better.
Consider me your Matt Foley with less girth and no van down by the river. I'm here for you.

How are you with Bird Law?

If you and I went toe-to-toe on bird law I would come out the victor.

Messy divorce, T&Ps
-
If I ever get to 10 and do this, I think I'd want to know that I lined up at slot and did that weirdly cool head check to the QB and back to the sideline.

Roids

The "hits" just keep on comin'...

Yes, I know it's the mobile link. Don't care. The kid is now losing his scholarship.
PS. He's a "former golf caddy" and they paid his tuition and board for that?!

Coach Urban Meyer said he had a somewhat serious conversation with Schlegel about the hit.
"I appreciated him protecting our players," Meyer told reporters earlier this week. "[But] I'd rather him not have a lawsuit if something bad would happen, you drill a guy like that.
"So we had a partial-serious conversation. And we also gave him a 'Hit City' award, our team, and had a little fun with it, too."
good grief Urban
-
good thing this guy was there to protect the 100, padded football players from this drunk, skinny kid
-
"partial-serious conversation"
"we gave him a 'Hit City' award"
-
Urban measures his words so carefully.
