@dennisdoddcbs: Half of the K-State roster vs. Auburn -58 players- will be former or current walk-ons.

If Dennis said it, I believe it.

Better not lose then :surprised:
-
No kidding! Impressive wizardry to get that team in the top 25.
A glimpse of what you'll see plenty of in the first half vs Auburn.

Our defense SUCKS. We'll just wear you down though...

Lockett is actually a pretty decent walk on, we've had a few of them.
-
My biggest fear is drive killing strings of 3 consecutive incomplete passes that really have nothing do to with your defense.

ya, I am not convinced Waters has made the same accuracy improvements as a 2nd yr starter that Bishop or Klein did.

Our roster has more than 58 players.

yeah we probably have like 116

Remember when Texas used to think they could beat us with recruiting rankings alone?

that's why America is in love with the Cats.

I counted and the roster has 124 guys on it. So if 58 were former walk ons that means that 66 of them came on scholarship. We normally run at about 80 ships, so roughly 15 former walk ons are now on ship. That seems about right to me. IT's going to be higher than most programs but not outragous. Any team with a 125 man roster is going to have at least 40 current walk ons and likely some former walk ons now on ship.

thanks for getting to the bottom of this kostakio

I did not see this thread before I brought this up in the no BS thread. Sorry or the redundancy of posting things twice in a redundant manner thereby duplicating information already out there.

I hope you posted a similar response in the no BS thread, or I won't believe your sincerity about duplicating!

We are basically like the Marky Mark movie where he goes from bartending to whipping ass as a footballer, only we do it er' year and are better than Marky Mark's stupid team.
