Title: Hey students, are any professors making an educational point this week..
Post by: Bookcat on September 15, 2014, 04:05:08 PM
to have tests on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning?

if so, drop the class if its not required.

of course, when I was in school back in the late 90's..Kstate was good enough to be the main attraction on Saturday's and the Big XII hadn't taken a TV backseat to the Big Ten (joke conference).

I took most of my tests loaded in college anyway so it shouldn't matter.  Go Cats!

What does it matter in the grand scheme of things? You will remember the game for the rest of your life. How long do you think you will remember those tests?

One of my instructors gave us a test on Friday morning. However, according to the syllabus our lowest test grade drops.  :gocho:

Probably will. It'll suck regardless of the game result

It's not the game I'm worried about, it's partying my brain out in aggieville after a cats victory and being super hungover the next morning.

So it'll be Auburn's first road OOC win since 1997? You sure about that, Clark?

I remember covering the big 12 tournament (bball) in Oklahoma City over a weekend. I believe that was the year we got screwed by the committee with hugs. Anyways, on the Sunday drive home, we decided to stay in Wichita and got super pak'd to drink our sorrows away. I had met a girl at fake patties a few weeks before that who played golf for wichita state and we went out with her girls. I had a Drugs and Behavior test the next day at 9:30am. We literally drove up to the building and dropped me off at 9:28am. I got an 88 on that text without studying.  :gocho:

It absolutely wasn't one of those tests where the professor grades for spelling and grammar, that's for sure.

You would be wise to revisit the 16 goals as I can think of at least 8 which apply directly to your circumstance.

It was an elective. Just like women studies and sexual behavior.

Pres. and provost have been pretty adamant about making professors have class on Thurs. Even late afternoon classes.

I think most professors that are "having class" and either giving students extra credit or just simply letting them go as soon as they get there so they can say class was held.

Joking aside, this is a pretty big deal for your school then?

Every game is a pretty big deal at Kansas State. Luckily for the students, most of the games are played on Saturdays.

Yes, football games are a big deal here. We usually play on Saturday, but apparently sec teams mean the disrespect of playing on Thursday

This is some sound advice from our Auburn friend AU_Tigers...  All wild wildcat students should heed this, particularly freshmen and sophmores (you'll have plenty of time to try and pull that GPA back up.).
