Title: I'm here in Manhattan for the game
Post by: Nashtiger on September 11, 2014, 06:05:33 PM
This is a HUGE disappointment. Very little pre-game buzz

Honestly, it baffles me as to why you would schedule a game here, today of all days, so close to Ground Zero

HAHAHAHA An Auburn fan affording a trip to the island of Manhattan.  Good one, Nashtiger, you'll fit in well here.

On a plus side, the tailgating scene is top-notch.
There are plenty of places to eat and drink, but your fans are NOT very friendly. One guy has been making hotdogs, but does not want to share WITHOUT BEING PAID. Very inhospitable. That wouldn't fly at LSU

Dry clean only.  MAYBE hand wash when out of town or in a jam.

It's getting pretty darned hectic around here.  I had to sit through 3 red light cycles while backed up from Tuttle Creek Blvd. to the traffic circle on 4th Street after work today.  It was awful!

I've been here a week now, and the hotel says I owe $2500. I'm checking out early tomorrow. Whats the best subway to take to the game?
