I am seriously thinking about coming out to the game.
1. Does anybody have a single ticket available?
2. What kind of ticket prices can I expect outside of the stadium?
3. Where do visitors sit? (in case I need to buy online, but not critical.
4. Is there forage available for my mule?
-
1. NO
2. $300
3. I don't think Auburn sold anything from their allotment
4. Try the sheep lot
-

I don't.
You'll have to pay a large chunk of change for a ticket. This is a huge game.
Visitors sit in the SE corner.
I've got 40 acres.

Sir, that qualifies as both frivolity AND tomfoolery, and so will be duly disregarded.
Thank you,

Just remember, we will not be welcoming. There is no southern hospitality here. We will rarely make eye contact, and if we do, please revert your gaze or we may take it as a territorial threat.

How about chicanery? Judges?
P.S. Glad you're coming to the game.

Well, in section 20 you are going to be very near the Auburn allotment. However, you are dangerously close to danger zone danger. Section 22 is basically a giant group of angry adult alcoholics who stand for the entire game. Section 23 is the start of the student section, a student section which may be the largest in the Big 12 (country?). On the upside there is a kettle corn vendor immediately at the top of the stairs. Also, you can leave at the half to go crush beers in the parking lot, and they let you back in....not everywhere does this, so prepare accordingly.

Who doesn't stand for the whole game? That is kind of standard isn't it?

If you do decide to throw stuff I will be the old guy who looks like the Great Pumpkin.

You're going to get in a ton of fights. Like, people will be trying to fight you everywhere. So there's that.

You'll have to be more descriptive. Narrow the field, please.

This is great advice. Make sure to thank a Ft. Riley soldier for his service while you are there.

Will we have our normal pre-game ceremony at the Ernie Barrett statue? This is a cherished tradition that every visiting fan must experience.

Of course it is. You can look it up. Ernie Barrett is inarguably Mr. K-State. Google it.

Serious as a devastating kick to the balls. I don't want to spill the beans, though. A member of this forum who started the tradition is the one who will announce it (if he so chooses), and the details are always entertaining.

Pretty cool. I didn't doubt the statue, just wondering about the alleged festivities.

As does former MHK Mayor Bob Strawn. I think His Honor Mayor Strawn likes it more, however. (Strawn's Google images are always a good time).

I didn't see the kettle corn tent at the first game. I was really surprised it wasn't where it normally sets up. Did they move it?

Tiger walk?!? I hope that's nothing like the "elephant walk" that was made popular by aggy in Collie Station...

Section 23 is not students. My seats are in section 23, and I've been out of school for a few years now. Section 24 is the start of the students

I will forgive his lack of nomenclature and see him for who he is, a fan of golden tigers. I just hope he doesn't kill them or :curse: :curse: :curse: :curse:

It was even worse for the visiting team. Did Coach Lowe have you guys hold hands like Coach Pierce while I was there?
