I can't remember who regularly did that last year, but hopefully that feature remains...
-
Almost did one for their postgame thread that's only 12 pages. But it's 90% depressing woe is us posts mixed with kids played hard posts.
-
Jesu Christ, just pull from the last few pages for a start. Emaw? More like lazy.

you do it
-
lots of fans over there claiming moral victory
-
Kinda sad how many of them already seem to have accepted it :frown:
-
They've resigned themselves to it.
-
Not really many gems at all. One guy said he wants to puke, the rest seem resigned and ready to head back to work on Monday at whatever depressing place they work at.

Re: ***Official ISU/KSU Postgame Thread***
There are no kind words I can ever say about LHC Bill Snyder...

It's days like this I'm glad I had Testicular cancer so when I get kicked in the balls it doesn't hurt so bad.

Re: The team is learning, that's a good sign.
Yeah, my GPA was 0.0 in my first semester @ ISU. In the second semester, it was 1.0.
They still kicked me out. Despite the improvement. Despite the learning.
I transferred to DMACC. Did well there.

Apathy is setting in
It was so apparent today in my section and in conversation on the way. Not good.
-
Re: Apathy is setting in
Does this surprise you? We've won 4 home games in the last 2 seasons and 2 games. Tulsa, Western Illinois, Baylor, and Kansas.
But hey, that Tulsa team won a bowl game! Oh ya, against us.
-
These are some gems, but I miss the days when they still had hope.

Re: Apathy is setting in
I don't feel apathy. I felt jubilation during the first half. That was so fun to watch. We are literally watching these kids grow up as they play. They took a huge step today. I'm proud of them, especially the defense. Richardson played very well. Both lines held their own. Kamari Kotton-Moya is an absolute beast stud of my dreams strong safety. I'm on cloud nine.

Not buying it. Much improved, but still learning. Everyone around me were supportive of the team. We will be back in a bowl gam next year. Still think we win 4 games this year.

Re: Apathy is setting in
The crowd looked and sounded great on TV. On the Cyclone.tv pre-game show the tailgating looked fantastic. The field grass, as usual, was amazing. Give the ground crew a big thumbs up.

Yep, expecting to beat NDSU and score a point in the second half of the KSU game is not realistic. This is why we suck.

There are three more pages so you're bound to find more gold

one guy started a thread called "moral victories aren't enough" and then everyone else started making fun of him for it :frown:
-
Sure you make fun, but the knowledgeable clone fan knows its under water more than the average rice paddy.

when your teams suck and your house gets flooded every other year you need some moral victories

I want to give it more attention because Sports Turf Management is great and should be discussed in every bbs. However, I am not certain that ISU has real turf.
Gonna win 'em all!

Slobber, they play on grass
-
I was shocked at how good their crowd was. They got stomped by NDSU last week, and the place was packed.

Dunno, it was something we certainly commented on at the game.

They are loyal fans for how crappy their programs always are. Don't know at what point that becomes pathetic and leads to their continual acceptance of mediocrity tho...
-
Of course they're loyal fans. What else do they have?
-
OT, but I think I'm starting to put together what Slobber majored in while he was at KSU.

It's not pathetic. The alternative is the crowds KU draws.

What I majored in was much more Aggie. What I do is much less Aggie.

I'd actually be working and not able to bbs. I've been waking up very early the past week. Old age sucks.
