Going to kale this weekend for labor day. Should have decent 4g. S3 phone fwiw.
-
I doubt you will get much of a picture, but maybe. :dunno:
-
Gf has some sort of galaxy tablet but dunno if that would be better or not.
-
I did not try to watch the Spring Game live on my GS3 but did watch it for a few minutes this weekend and it looked fine using the Chrome browser over wifi.
As far as using 4G to watch this Saturday's game, I have tried to do this at the Lake of the Ozarks a couple of time and it never works for crap and I end up switching to audio only. We finally got cable internet down there this summer and I just ordered this Android stick PC http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ECBY5VS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ECBY5VS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) on the hopes it works better than a laptop.
I have nothing but gut feelings to back this up but I think the earlier you get on the stream the better. HTH

This game isn't on tv correct? Even in the KC area?

internet broadcast only.
There have been places that will try to put it on - I remember the old movie theater on Johnson Drive tried it a time or two but the stream looked pretty bad IIRC.

Also, it looks like there should be a new app (coming August 15th :dubious:) that might have the stream :dunno:

That's more of a gamecast type app. It says nothing about live streaming events.
Here is the list of system requirements for those of you who are able to do simple research on your own. This literally took 15 seconds to find...

From the kstatesports.com/wireless website: "Gameday Lite will serve as our off-season mobile application, while we put the finishing touches on the fully featured version, K-State Gameday LIVE. . . . So, while your Wildcats are busy gearing up for next season, so are we. We will launch our fully-featured app, K-State Gameday LIVE just in time for the start of Fall sports allowing you to watch live games and much more!"

I would just go to the game.

In the app it says: Also new for this year is an improved mobile experience for users which will include live streaming with native browsers on select iOS and Android devices. Viewers can also watch live on the dedicated mobile app, K-State Gameday Live (http://www.kstatesports.com/wireless/).

They've changed the text in the last hour. No longer lists a launch date. :impatient:

Since it appears that somebody is reading this thread I will take this opportunity to say I am going to actually cancel my account after the 3rd Tier game this time. There really is no reason that I should still have to hook up a laptop to a TV in the same manner I did to watch to a watch a Cat Hoops game in Waco over 10 years ago!
I mean, its only a hundred bucks a year or whatever but I would like to see some improvement from "the nation's No. 1 digital network".
-
So like, it sounds as if I don't get too watch the game right?
