OK, I'm too lazy to read the article, but the important thing is there's a poll at the end asking readers who they want to be in a Wizards uniform next season, and Cartier Martin is one of the choices, as he's currently on a 10-day contract with them. But only 10% of voters chose him! Aaaarh! So get your ass over there and vote for Cartier Martin and only Cartier Martin, because who gives a eff about the others. Thanks.

Wish I could get an electronic "I Voted EMAW" sticker. It would be tailor-made for these sorts of poll questions.
-
It must be working, he has skyrocketed to 12% now! Also, killing the other D-league guy who has 1%. :pbj:
-
Would vote for Cartien anytime....done.
-
Up to 14% now! Nice work, boys. The rest of you, go vote!
-
Done. We're gonna get him an automatic spot on the roster forever!!! :ksu:

We did it!!!
WIZARDS SIGN MARTIN FOR REMAINDER OF THE SEASON WASHINGTON, DC ? Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team has signed guard/forward Cartier Martin for the reminder of the season. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not announced. Martin originally signed with Washington on March 30. ...In five games for the Wizards, Martin has averaged 8.0 points and 2.6 rebounds
-
The rest of the season is only a few games though.

from http://voices.washingtonpost.com/wizardsinsider/2010/04/wizards-sign-cartier-martin-fo.html
In limited minutes, Martin has proven to be a decent scorer. After going scoreless in a six-minute debut in his hometown of Houston, Martin has averaged 10 points in his past four games. He scored nine points in just 13 minutes on Wednesday, and Orlando Magic Coach Stan Van Gundy singled him out among the Wizards wing players that his team has had difficulty guarding.
:D
He's up to 15% in the poll and rising. Rock on, goEMAW.com. Hopefully some team will see C. Martin's value and offer him a more long-term contract.

Who made this poll?! 626% total... I realize that you can select multiple people, but you would hope they would keep it to 100% anyway.

If you can select multiple people, then how would you still keep the total at 100%? I mean, you could have a ranking system and then a separate percentage of first place votes, I suppose.

Seriously? How about they just show the % of the total votes each player has?

Because then Cartier Martin would have a lower percentage and make him look bad. This way it looks more respectable. ;) Would it be correct to say that Martin has gotten 2.2% of total votes by dividing 14 by 626?
