Title: 10 months into the Fed Fiscal Year . . .
Post by: sonofdaxjones on August 14, 2014, 01:33:44 PM
nearly $2.5 Trillion in Taxes Collected by the IRS, an all time record.

But!!  Still nearly $500 billion short in paying all the bills.

New progressive lib talking point:  The Deficits are Shrinking! (but still nearly a half a trillion dollars)

Now I'm off to find the latest copy of the Federal Budget.

I corrected my statement.   I'll give you that you don't really act like it, but most of your angst is directed towards liberals and democrats.

Now you do you think the conservatives in congress with their advocation of conflict and increased military budgets are willing to help solve our deficits?

No, not really.   But it's a little silly to think that it's only conservatives spoiling for conflict, you'll have a presidential candidate to vote for in a year or so who loves War.

Captain Projection??

You think I like democrats?   eff them.

The House could pass spending cuts all day, but none of them would even go to a vote in the Senate, and Obama would issue a statement that he won't sign it.
