I was just at dara's and guess who walked in! Jacob Pullen himself
-
Beard?
-
Still rocking it. I had a friend for 91.9 ksdb do an interview with him today and he said he was pretty tore up about the loss still.
-
Dude has NOTHING to be ashamed of. However, if he feels that bad he can make up for it by delivering a Finals appearance next year  Actually he needs to kick the crap out of Dom and JamSam for their DUMBASS fouls away from the ball.
-
Saw the freshman group last week. They were walking across the street in front of the Dorms. Most of them were checking out the tail walking by, but Wally was way behind them and stopped in the middle of Claflin and :adios: at the cars waiting. Adorable.
-
What a guy.
-
Did you start chanting, "one more year!!"?
It's gonna take everything fellas...
-
Did he still look in shape?
-
ridiculous that no one has asked yet
How'd he smell? I always imagined a field of wildflowers
-
Funny story. So Pullen was leaving the derb after getting something to eat with the Freshman last night and a friend and I yelled "one more year jake!" at him. We hid and he just looked up. No breaking news here. :frown:
-
Was he enjoying Manhattan? :ohno:
-

Surprised he didn't throw up the crossbones. Every driver would put their car in reverse and get the hell out of there.

Wally keeps talking about being in love, too. Is this a good thing? :dunno:

Take it with a grain of salt, but might be something worth checking into. Got word from a classmate of Pullen, that he said he was going to the NBA. Said he only had 9 hours left to graduate and was going to try and finish them this summer.
:bawl:

I would be highly surprised for a Junior to have all but 9 hours required for graduation, especially a student athlete.
-
I hope he leaves just because everyone is acting like complete tards over the whole thing.
-
Jacob Pullen is going to be a Sr. at Kansas State. You have my word.
-
Why do you try to "raise our hopes" BlackGoldCat?
I've seen this movie before. Sad ending.
-
Time will tell, My friend did this interview with him and asked him if he had a particular team he would like to play for... His response... "whoever cuts the checks" not the best quote out there for fans to hear. Like i said it should be interesting

I hope he never leaves. NEVER..... LEAVES...... :bball:

Not the best our there for fans to hear? WTF would a kid that has really no shot at being drafted this year say? "I want the Lakers to draft me."??
:runaway:

Agreed.
Quick research indicates he is still of Junior status, so at MOST he has 89 hours below his belt. Assuming the 89 hours and a low 120 hour requirement, he would have to be taking 22 hours this semester for this claim to be valid. It doesn't take mythbusters to prove this wrong.

Ongoing twitter conversation between local KU super fan mellinger and Jeff:
Reply Retweet mellinger If you were Jacob Pullen, and knew you'd be a 2nd round NBA/European player whether you came out now or in a yr, what would you do? #kstate
Reply Retweet JayMart @mellinger I'd be shocked if his parents aren't telling him to stay and get his degree.

mellinger Option 1: be the effing man at #kstate next year, a possible top 5 team. Option 2: make six figures & add a yr to his career. #priorities

couldn't the same conversation be said about tyshawn and the morris twins (minus the "his parents care about the education" thing cause like no way do the morris twins and tyshawn care about anything but shooting people on campus, fighting, and point plankn')?
and though it's a valid point (make the same money now vs. in a year, so why not leave now)...everyone with any talent is apparently leaving this year, I can't imagine next year there will be as many prospects (especially if one of the elite HS'ers goes to KU instead of Kentucky).

Mellinger & J-Mart should've stuck a @jpullz in their tweets, so Jake would be able to read that.
