Really enjoy looking at the trend lines for their top 25 FEI ratings.

Basically, what the FEI does is it eliminates end of half clock kills, adjusts for garbage time at the end of the game, and rewards a team for playing well and still losing against a good team more than it does playing poorly against a bad team and still winning.

They were particularly high on our cats last season, having us only losing to Baylor and Okie State in the regular season. They did have us losing a close one to Michigan in the BWW, so that hurts their credibility a bit. We all make mistakes.

A good time waster at work if nothing else on a Friday.

Very interesting and head-spinning even though it looks like a bunch of gobbledy-goop.  I just don't know if those kind of equations work for college football.  You can't put a number on "heart" and The Wizard LHC Bill Snyder.
