Title: Rating Big 12 noncon schedules

Hey! An overview of the noncon portion of Big XII schedule and no pot shots at the Cats or Snyder for scheduling the "wrong" way! FWIW, they've got us with the 3rd toughest noncon in the conference.

Meanwhile, our friends in Norman aren't impressed with the Stephen F. Austin game in Manhattan.

I guess taking into account the other teams on the noncon schedule (ahem...Auburn) doesn't become part of the way mouth breathers in Norman consider ranking the worst games on the Big 12 noncon schedule. That's high level thinking and all.

If you read We Must Ignite This Couch, the WVU forums, you'd get a sense of their delusion. Many think they need to play VT every year -- although VT does seem to be in a rut now. No one is so delusional to think the Bama game will be close though. One thing they all nearly support is that Holgerson is a loser.

I'm kind of ambivalent towards WVU. I really want them to be good so the conference is enhanced but I also want them to be dominated by the traditional Big 8 teams, except KU, so they kind of know their place.

I think they'll be improved defensively this year -- Bradley was a good hire and will change them immediately. They have good linebackers and running backs. Clint Trickett is a bit of a wild card, but if he doesn't turn it over and they run the ball I could see 6-7 wins.

Iowa State's OOC is harder than tbpOSU and OU.

TTech, Baylor and KU have scheduled weaker than Snyder for 20 years, yet get no crap (KU is so bad any D1 team they schedule is "difficult competition" for them, so they don't really count, same with Baylor until the last 10 years).

From my understanding, our friends in Lawrence hate Duke. Boy are they going to be bummed when they get dominated in another sport by them

I really wish BYU would join the league so I could call them Warren Jeffs Aggie. No other reason.

This is a really horrible piece. They start off by taking a shot at us for not scheduling a weak enough FCS team last year. Then they end the article by criticizing our SFA game because SFA is the weakest FCS team any BigXII team scheduled. What does it mean if OU fans have a bigger hard-on for us than for OSU or Texas?

We need to trick these "smug Squawks & Taters into building a huge couch fire, you know, the kind like ATM did a few years back.  If the fire doesn't get em, then then the smoke will do the job.  We just need some of the expert WVUATM fans to offer advice.  ;)
