It would be really great if Sproles and Newman dress like Snyder for the game. Both in purple windbreakers, khakis, Cortez shoes, Snyder style glasses.

What if they do indeed dress like Snyder as I propose? And then they do their best Snyder impressions during the game and the winner's team gets 10 bonus points?

One of them can do that.  But, I want the other one to dress like the San Diego chicken and shoot hot dogs (free ones) into the stands with an air cannon.  I don't care which does which, but between you and me Terrance would be a better chicken.

I'm #teamsproles by a landslide

I'm 100% #teamsproles but you're aware that T-New is a pro bowler and Sproles has never been selected for the pro bowl right? I don't know how you measure production and reputation but T-New was a higher draft pick, made more money, played for fewer teams, and has been a starter every year of his career, this in addition to the pro bowl.

Sproles has a chance to break the career all purpose yards though. If he does, he would have an argument.

Any friend of Tobias is a friend of mine. He can be country and still be a stud, I'm not throwing shade, I'm from Garden City. You just have to have a large element of country in you to think Salina is superior to Olathe in any way. The best thing I have ever done in Salina is to go to the baby animal sale at Orschlen.

That's a great idea. Maybe the fans can use the bushes outside of Ahearn as a restroom and concessions can be sold out of the old theatre on the east side. Locker rooms? Pfft. Our guys can just walk from Vanier in full pads.

Also, no field goals or extra points. Both teams must go for 2 every time they score a TD...

"The first game held at the stadium was on October 6, 1922, when only the west wing of the stadium was complete. Kansas State defeated Washburn University in that initial contest 47-0."

All I need to read.  We should have a memorial game against Washburn there. Like, a JV one. . .so our subs get a chance to play a little.

Show up and grill some crap while crushing some cold brews... Maybe toss the pigskin around a bit.  Pretty simple really.

Hasn't parking been free and GA on both sides in past years? I can't remember, but pretty sure that's the case.

Is there any word on how tailgating will go down for this spring game? I'm having trouble remembering how it has worked in the past.

Thanks TC that's what I was curious about.  That's what I'm thinking, but not sure.  Does the parking lot open 4 hours prior like during football season?

it's a rough ridin' spring game, i didn't say to play ku or an actual game there towniemoronbuttcat.

Maybe in a couple of years when Memorial Stadium has a green roof on both sides fans can bring their own blankets and lawn chairs to sit on. It would be like an Arts in the Park, only with K-State Wildcats Football!!

Don't really care too much if we play in Memorial ever (tho could be fun I suppose), but the "green roof" is probably the biggest waste of money and possibly the stupidest renovation of any old building I have ever heard of.  :Yuck:
