And, of course, even the announcement is political.
Said a glowing Chelsea at a Hillary fundraiser, 'I certainly feel all the better whether itβs a girl or a boy that she or he will grow up in a world filled with so many strong, young female leaders. . .
I wonder if she also lamented that, if it's a girl, she'll only make 77 cents for every dollar a man makes?
-
congrats to Chelsea tho
-
go chelsea go
-
:curse:
-
The nerve of that $!#*
-
I thought is was a little weird when she commented "and I'm so relieved to know that, if it's a girl, she will not be deprived of her right to free birth control."
-
Seven, do us all a favor, including yourself, and delete your last post.
-
people care about what chelsea clinton says?

-
wtf was she talking to people for anyway? was this fundraiser in the kitchen? if not, her husband needs to be sent to spousal control class. i'm just so angry over this :curse:
-
God damn assholes
-
Democrats have a bizarre tendency to politicize personal events. Just ask Paul Wellstone.
But I thought it crossed the line when she said "even though I have decided to carry this fetus to term, I totally respect a woman's right to choose."
-
do you guys think barry did it?
-
she has them enraged
-
she has them enraged
Well, I can't speak for the vast right wing conspiracy, but for me it's more of a combination of  and

Good job Chelsea on getting a seed planted in ya.

I like how KSU leaves out the part where it was at a Girls Club at an event promoting girls empowerment and cultivating more women in leadership roles.

did you leave this out intentionally KSU or did you just miss it in your rage?

Rage. That, or it didn't seem particularly relevant to her putting a political spin on a pregnancy announcement. Probably the unbridled hatred and rage tho.
-
RAGE IT IS FOLKS!
-
sometimes i see red too (see: rafters thread)
-
How is making a reference to the young women in the audience at an event where the theme is promoting young, female leaders putting a political spin on it?
I guess if you were upset that there was even an event promoting women's leadership then your post would be logical. However being upset that someone in politics played up to the crowd in front of them is pretty stupid.
-
If this were really America, that bitch would already have 3 kids and she would be too busy to talk to girls
-
I for one, am glad republicans never talk about their stupid families at political events. Nothing is sacred to those rough ridin' dens.
-
KSU,
Slow down man. At least talk about something relevant.
-
Good lord, K-S-U. Even Tim Huelskamp doesn't care enough about this to tweet about it.
-
I am with K-S-U, she should get back to bare footin' in the kitchen. The nerve
-
How much fun will hanging out with Grandpa Bill be for that kid?
-

absolutely. republicans never discuss their family and definitely never parade them out in front of the cameras for political gain. Thank goodness for that

This is going to turn your stomach bro.
"Marc and I are very excited that we have our first child arriving later this year," Chelsea said at the end of the event.
"And I certainly feel all the better whether it's girl or a boy that she or he will grow up in a world full of so many strong, young female leaders. So thank you for inspiring me and thank you for inspiring future generations."
Clinton added: "I just hope I will be as good a mom to my child and hopefully children as my mom was to me."
spare me :blah:

EW YORK β Former first daughter Jenna Bush Hager (HAY'-gur) announced Wednesday that she's pregnant with her first child, due in the spring.
The 31-year-old made the announcement on NBC's "Today" show, where she is a contributing correspondent.
Hager, the twin daughter of former President George W. Bush, and her husband, Henry, have been married for four years. He joined his wife on the "Today" set when she made the announcement.
During a phone call on the show, former President Bush said he's "fired up" about becoming a grandfather, and former first lady Laura Bush said she's "thrilled." It will be the couple's first grandchild.
maybe the Libertarian families don't announce pregnancies....

There is not an eye roll emoticon big enough for the amount of denial and false equivalencies in this thread. Carry on.
