He's not having one. The church is too cowardly.

You think he's in heaven? :/

These satanists plan on turning his soul gay, so god should start hating him pretty soon.

I have a story (in-person only) about Fred and his crew.
-
There will be another angel looking down from heaven tomorrow.
Poor Eastern Kentucky never saw this coming.
-
Fred was obviously gay and spent his life trying to show how much he wasn't.
-
It's strange that he became such a bigot later in life considering he helped end Jim Crow laws in Kansas.

It became more profitable

There was some article out there where the family asked for no protestors at the funeral. Lol.

The guy had a pretty amazing life and was a gifted attorney. It's a shame that he'll be remembered for all the hateful stuff in the last few decades, but that's the choice he made. Good riddance to all that (I hope).

His clan was downtown last night. I doubt it's over. Also, didn't he get disbarred?

Yes. Still a very smart lawyer. Ran afoul of ethical issues about the time he went off the deep end. He picketed my graduation and I got a fun picture in front of one of the signs. I think it said "God hates man of taste and distinction lawyers" or something like that.

I remember a few years ago when KS was in the national news in the same week for Fred Phelps, George Tiller, and BTK. We're shedding embarrassments left and right in the Ad Aspera! :tsc:

I heard he was a hack ass'd ambulance chaser. Not gifted, but who knows. He swam in a tiny pond over in Shawnee county district court.
