Title: TF does "compete" mean?
Post by: Trim on March 19, 2014, 10:10:58 PM
Quote
“My message since last week has been, ‘Compete.’ That has to be the message Friday, and if we get to play Sunday.”

I need a media credential.

I think what oscar is trying to say is that he wants Pete to be at schempak this weekend.

So his message is basically to try to not get embarrassed too bad on Friday and don't even worry about paying on Sunday cause that ain't gonna happen.

He means to show up, play really hard, and don't lay down. Next... I'm really good at puzzles BTW.

Does anyone else see a correlation between oscar's personality and Bill's?  I may be way off base, but a lot of times I think that he cares about his players more than winning.  That might be an unfair thing to say about Bill for some of you, but that is the truth as I see it.  That being said, if you add youngsters into that quote somewhere. . .it sounds like a Bill quote.

My message to these youngsters since last week has been, ‘Compete.’

Bill comes off as measured and thorough,  oscar comes off whiny and losery.

Truth. Maybe if oscar spends all of his free time near and or around Bill some of that good stuff will rub off.
