That's a joke.

That's a joke.

Several teams with worse seeds than KSU have easier games.

Fair enough. That happens every year to teams, looks like it is your year this time.

Then it's also my year to say that's a joke.

They loved mid-majors a little too hard

UMass getting the overall 23rd ranking was high IMO. Their resume is pretty similar to fellow A-10 member G Wash, and they were ranked 34th.
N Mexico being ranked 28th I thought was low. SD State was 16th. They did win at KU and had 2 fewer losses than NM. But NM SOS was a lot better (45 compared to 107) and NM beat SDSU 2 of the 3 matchups.
So UMass being 23 and N Mexico being 5 spots lower is a joke IMO
The A-10 conference in general got favorable treatment from the committee. SLU lost 4 of last 5 (2 of those losses to bad teams) and they still got ranked 18. I had UMass and SLU 6 spots lower.
ACC also got good treatment. Virginia got the last 1 seed over Michigan and Nova. Pitt got a 9 seed. Generous considering they only went 2-8 vs the top 50 (beat UNC and Stanford). And NC St was the surprise team that got into the "play in games"
