Go cats! Selection Sunday is tomorrow. :emawkid: Where will we be?
-
It will be fun seeing the Cats called on selection Sunday for the 5th season in a row. If you can't enjoy that I don't know what to say.
-
it's been a great run. altman/asbury/wooldridge seems so long ago.

And the future looks bright. It's hard for me to see how this freshman class would miss the tournament.
-
I'm rooting for St Louis fan man.
-
K-State basketball has never been to 5 straight NCAA tournaments. Ever.

True, prior to 1975 only the conference champion made the tournament. Still, there have been nearly 30 seasons with at least 64 teams in the field. 5 in a row is still a pretty good accomplishment.

These are some pretty crazy stats. I bet by Foster's senior year, we're going to our 8th straight tournament and it's the 5th longest active streak.
-

What's the record for most first (now second) round exits in a row? Asking for a friend.
(The friend is oscar Weber. He wants to set a record, any record, he doesn't care.)

Raftery: And it's the eighth consecutive NCAA tournament appearance for the Wildcats...
Reggie Miller: and it's their highest seed since Jacob Pullen and Denis Clemente lead them to the Elite 8 under Frank Martin. It all started with Bob Huggins, then Micheal Beasley and now Marcus Foster and Westicles have lead the Wildcats to their first No. 1 seed in school history.
Raftery: Their a consistent power and...ooh the kiss from Foster!
As the No. 1 seed and B12 (maybe 12 teams by then, who knows?) champ Cats demolish some pud No. 16 seed team.
