Title: Revisiting oscar's Foul Rule
Post by: Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) on March 01, 2014, 10:25:41 PM
Benching guys for the remainder of the 1st half with 2 fouls.
Missing guys for lengthy periods in the second half with 3 fouls.

No bueno, almost cost us the game and not a good hard rule to live by. Right?

between that stubbornness and oscar's WTF use of some TOs tonight, BID may have gained a casual observer tonight.

Those are dumb reasons to suddenly become BID. We did just beat a Top 15 team.

Justifying anything by talking about "almost losing" seems dumb, especially in this situation.

And none of this is new. None of it.

I'm not sure I trust oscar enough to make those calls on the fly, so I'm fine with him playing it the same way each time. Wish he would stop calling TOs late in the shot clock though.

FWIW, I don't like the late shot clock TOs, you aren't going to get a high percentage shot in that situation anyway.

But that's not a deal breaker to me, oscar is doing a lot things well at K-State so far.

The TOs were really WTF tonight.

Perhaps "casual observer" wasn't muted enough, bc clearly my 4th favorite poster took that too hard.

I will admit that a line up with Nigel, Jevon, Omari, Shane, and DJamer (I think for a stretch) was pretty ridiculous.
