I have absolutely had it. Enough. Make a full sized freaking cake. Oh you made cute cupcakes for the cute little birthday party I'm obligated to attend for your stupid 4 year old? AWESOME! TWO WHOLE BITES! WOW THAT WAS SO SATISFYING! I CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO MOMMY BLOG AND INSTAGRAM AND PINTRIST THIS STUPID CUPCAKE.
I want a damn full sized piece of cake. This is getting ridiculous.

they're kinda weird to manage in public if you have a normal to below normal sized mouth

The worst part? They only make EXACTLY one per guest. I wouldn't even give a crap about looking like a fat pig, I'd ask for more cupcakes, but they only have one per person.
Its like, on what planet should a 4 year old who weighs 34 pounds and a 31 year old who weighs 217 pounds get exactly the same amount of cake?

I've been to probably 600 parties with full sized cake and have never seen one where there wasn't some left over. That's a good movie but they don't know crap about cake.

Probably 0 of them lost money, and 100% of them were happy that they had cake left over the next day for breakfast. And think of the money they save on those stupid papers which end up in a landfill.

Pizza has a built in handle, called the crust. Cupcakes are a mess factory. Mess to cake ratio is completely off the charts. BUT LOOK HOW CUTE ON INSTAGRAM

I'm not a fan. Lady BR's sister just tasted cupcakes for her wedding this summer last weekend. The good part is that you get 8 different flavors. The bad part is you have to deal with a crappy overplayed little cake.
Sidenote- best wedding dessert I have ever experienced is a smallish wedding cake but then a whole table of homemade apple and cherry pies with icecream as the grooms "cake". Let's just say there was a mountain of cake leftover but no pie to be found.
