Title: Tickets for game this Sun and questions about Bramledge
Post by: Trim on December 12, 2013, 01:17:24 AM
Just moved back to the area (Overland Park from Chicago) and this will be my first home KSU basketball game in a long time. Prob 10 years. (before Huggins) I am planning on taking my 2.5 yr old and 4.5 yr old daughters.

1. Does anyone have any extra tickets for the game?
2. Does my 2 yr old need a ticket to get in?
3. I figure once we get in there should be plenty of room and choices to sit. Any recommendations for kids? Is there a place to meet the cheerleaders and Willie before the game. Where does the band sit? (They love the KSU fight song)

I imagine if I had to buy tix it shouldn't be too pricey and I can do so at the Bram before the game.

I figure this would be a good relax game to take them too since the students are probably taking off for semester (i think?)

Any other advice or tips for me? Thanks in advance.

your kids should have a great time trim, i feel like i have to warn you, though, the ood may not live up to your memories.  for whatever reason we just haven't had great crowds this your.  also the offense can struggle at times.  This offensive scheme, as I understand it, requires a high degree of comprehension in order for it to be effective.  Lots of minutes by freshman, chemistry issues amongst new teammates working out their roles on this team and you are going to struggle.  Not to mention the pitiful home crowds which have to be deflating and the just wait mentality that these guys must have knowing Jevon (is that right?) will be joining the team soon. This will add a whole new dynamic they will need to then incorporate.  I don't think some of you appreaciate the significance of team chemistry, especially when it comes to basketball and this offense is very chemistry oriented.

A little more complicated than throwing it up at the rim, hoping it goes in once in a while and rebounding like its prison ball.

Your daughters will have an amazing time now that Frank isn't there to poison them with his rampant profanities.  My 6 really enjoy going now, oscar always smiles at the kids and they LOVE running around the concourse in the second half.

Also, after finding my way back to men's basketball this season I have to say, you are going to really appreciate all of the room you have now.  My kids will go over to an empty section and just play on the benches of the upper rows.  I can easily keep an eye on them also.

We had stopped going and were going only to the women's games because my girls had nowhere to play.  It is a really family friendly atmosphere now.

I wish you would step back from that bramledge my friend,
You could cut ties with all the lies,
That you've been living in,
And if you do not want to see me again,
I would understand.
I would understand.

The angry boy,
A bit too insane,
Icing over a secret pain
You know you don't belong.

You're the first to fight,
You're way too loud,
You're The flash of light,
On a burial shroud,
I know something's wrong

Never pictured you as a family man, Trim. Do you have any advice for me as I become older? I, one day, would like to have kids also.

There is a zero percent chance that this is a serious question from Trim. Trim can spell. Also, there's no way that potty mouth bully has small children.

Thanks y'all

What is the policy on bringing in bags into Bramledge can I bring in a small back pack full of stuff. Gonna have to be "mom" for he day so I guess I'll need a man bag full of kids supplies...

Also is there a fee for parking in the lots? East.. West.?
