ku hangs their dbs out to dry just like ou. Expect a big game from waters. Ku just got shut out by isu, one of the worst defenses in the country.

One thing that will be interesting and comical is the amount of trick plays and gimmicks Ku will run on Saturday.

Fake punts?  You bet
Reverse on a punt return?  Almost a certainty
HB pass?  Yessir

-17, is that points or touchdowns?  Pretty sure we'll cover either one.  I'm gonna have to hit up some more ranching buddies in the Alma metroplex to have something to bet.

It's actually dropped to 16 in many places. We're going to own so many farms when this game is over.

This where the real action is.  How many do you think we see?  What is the over/under on gimmick/trick plays?  Fake punts and onside kickoffs count as "trick" plays.

They will fake at least one punt, and they will probably start the game off with an onside kick, or maybe the second half.

We'll get at least two half back passes, and at least one hook and lateral.

I'm thinking 49-21* Cats.

* 21 will come from a pity turnover and a garbage TD.

The only thing that is certain is that we wont be ready for any of them (see last years ku game and ttech this year).  But yeah, they're gonna do so many fakes and probably eff up the execution of most. Its gonna be hilarious.

I really really hope there's a swinging gates or center sneak in there somewhere.

Someone pulled one of those off beautifully recently. Forget who, though.

Fresno did this on Saturday. Although I'm not sure why you'd waste that play when you're already up by 21 vs a crappy team like New Mexico...

I was confused by the call as well. Like you said, it seemed like a waste.

we don't have the dominant running game that we've had in the past.

Snyder teams that can really lay the wood to people have always been the ones that can run the ball at absolute will.

sams will baylor ku if he has the chance, and hubert has been mumped all season, he has run well when given the opportunity. i really think the texas fumble has bill being bill with hubert and its bullshit

I'm not so sure, there is a blueprint for how to slow sams down, baylor was a long time ago.

How so?

Hubert's best stretch of games occurred from BU through Tech when he had 72 carries for 438 yards, but then the last two games it seems the coaches have forgotten we have him on the roster. I think the coaches (wrongly) get into modes where they think we can't run and don't use him. Of course against TCU the running game was mostly Sams, and Sams and Hubert weren't in the game often together.

lack of trust i guess? to be honest none of this seasons offense has made much sense. maybe hubert was just better with klein being the focal point, im not really sure but we should've used hubert much more this season. prime example is last week, first carry was 13 yds and then a whole lotta dimp after a bullshit play callx2

I think that is part of it, but I do think there are games this year where Hubert is more committed to getting vertical after one move, and others where he seems to think he's Barry Sanders which gives him no chance against good defenders.
