So Cliff Alexander attempted to "choose" Illinois, by selecting the Illinois hat in front of him, then discarded and chose the Kansas hat.
I remember when Baron Davis did the exact same "hat thing" when he chose UCLA over Kansas. Every Kansas fan I knew proclaimed that it was the most classless act they had ever seen, and was probably the kindest thing I heard.
This Cliff Alexander kid had probably reconsider and choose another school, because these KU fans are NEVER going to be hypocrites and simply accept him because they were on the "other side" of such a low down, disgusting display.

When Jordan's sons defended him a few years ago against claims that Kobe was better, they were in college and had the vocabulary of two-year olds. Michael and his wife didn't even have the sense to have them shut up.
Slang, hood-talk, that's one thing. But their speech was the most illiterate I have ever heard; period. They were lousy players, too but I guess the college had no minimum entrance levels. When Magic left Michigan State after 2 years, he was an embarrassment to our college system and must have had others take his exams, maybe for money; I don't know. But he did change but only AFTER leaving college. That's NOT how it should be.
It's a joke - the IHSA has no idea how widespread the problem is. Not only do coaches cheat, but so do the parents. They give up guardianship to another relative in a different district so their son or daughter can play a sport at another school. It happens all the time. A kid can just bounce around and play at any school every year - as long as they have relatives in those communities. Homewood Flossmor in IL - girls basketball just forfeited every game and were disqualified from the playoffs due to the same issue. Four girls were from Bolingbrook High School and didn't even live in the area, but their parents filled out the required paperwork and bam......my kid now goes to HF.......It's a joke, football and basketball are the two worst when it comes to cheating. Crete Monee in IL had a starting defensive tackle on their team that didn't even live in the district when they won there state championship - he would drop his sister off at one school then drive down to Crete. He came back to the school with his sister after Crete won a state championship in football??? He came back in January so he could graduate with his friends. His parents live about a mile from the school he's supposed to be going to for all four years - but again fill out some paper work - get a state championship ring - then transfer back - it's a joke. Watching Crete win with at least one Illegal player out of district was just wrong. Everyone should win with their own guys - play by the rules, get a 2.0 - Heck if you can't get 5 or 6 C's then you need to quit sports. IHSA - shame on you - it happens all the time.
