Title: San Francisco Make-a-wish Batman thing
Post by: michigancat on November 15, 2013, 01:21:53 PM
It's really cool, but I'm such a miser that I feel bad for the other make-a-wish kids who just get to meet a dumb athlete or something. What on earth is wrong with me?

Quote from: Indiana coworker
They should have flown him to New York, that would have been the REAL Gotham City

I don't feel so bad about myself any more.

Are all make-a-wish kids terminal?

No. They have to have a life-threatening disease but being terminal is not a requirement.  There have been many Make-A-Wish kids beat their disease.

My much younger cousins were Make-A-Wish kids. They have a disease that makes them more crippled the older they get, and they'll both be in wheelchairs by the age of 18. I don't know if that counts as a terminal disease

I really feel nothing here. Maybe a little annoyed so many people had to repost on various forms of social media I follow.

Producers objected and Garfield stormed off the set, leaving Scott and his family "devastated," the source reportedly said. The piece was cut Sunday, March 2, just hours before the Academy Awards broadcast. Producers reportedly paid for Scott and his family to go to Disneyland for their trouble.
