Duke is my favorite basketball team and has been since the 7th grade. Coach K is a god.

As usual, whenever I want to cheer for KU some beaker goes and grinds my gears on social media. I'm pulling hard for the Dookies only partly so I can laugh at them though. Our guy Wiggins really needs some early season adversity so that he may blossom into the beautiful flower he was meant to be. If they win, he won't feel as compelled to drive himself forward and Self may very well ruin another prodigy in the making.

I like underdogs and it would appear Duke has the talent and coaching advantage so I give the nod to my wheat loving hawks in Lawrence. I hate to root against the sister school so this is pretty tough. I am encouraged in that I think the new officiating rules give teams that aren't as athletic a bit if an advantage so Ku gets the edge there.
Going to be a wild one but in the end I say go Andrew Wiggins, make the state proud!

Pretty much what you do when Basketball season rolls around,,,,,,, its just a formality for you, play your games, get your ass handed to you 2 or 3 times from your BIG brother down the highway, share a title once every 30 years if that,, slip into the tourney get slapped around sent home.. Have your coach sneak out the back to the airport in search of a better job ,, hire a new coach get all giddy :billdance: etc.etc.etc. And low and behold old balls leaves , another Prince rolls in and my goodness the whole town shuts down . As BIG brother continues to rack up banner after banner,,,, It must suck living in a fantasy filled world , its like you almostttttt get there and awwww another let down . So come to Lawrence and see all the flags we would love to have you
