Even the local media think like this. The sports guy on the Des Moines NBC affiliate had a 3 minute editorial essentially saying that ISU fans shouldn't care about getting taunted about this from other fanbases because they were cheated twice and its okay to let everyone know that they were cheated.

It's not about us,it's about them. I don't remember much about the actual game last year but I remember the taunting of ISU fans, Currie, and oscar stories from a ksubb insider.

There's been at least two occassions (probably more) when either the rules of the game or the selection criteria were changed because of what happened to K-State.   Yes there was a lot of whining from the K-State fanbase after one occasion, not so much after the other because the refs made the correct call by the rule book at the time.

No institutionally backed marketing campaigns for either, tho.

Yeah, would be great if the pic had a ref blowing a whistle while signing the charge sign and the other players on the court were all  :dubious:  at the ref.

All this did was remind me how exciting and fun the ISU/KU games were last year.  When I think back to last year's Big 12 bball those are easily the two I remember best.

Trim and I post court ass whippin pak'd at the one in Emporia. We were sitting at the table and said this place is so Iowan'y. About thirty seconds later we looked at the history write up of the place on the napkin dispenser and sure enough started in Iowa.
