Since I was yelled at and called names for being negative, here's a positive thread.
Denis - Had the "never give up" attitude, and "left it all on the court." Will miss you, buddy.
Jake - Didn't have it tonight, but he didn't take a lot of bad shots. Will still be amazing next season.
CK - Finally starting to become the monster we hoped during the tourney. Hopefully that carries on to next year and he can be an imposing man in the middle. He has "the fire."
Grudes/Wally - Showed flashes of good stuff today and all season long. Good foundation for the next several years.
Energy/Lou - eff you guys. But Lu, loved you smashing the dude into the backboard.
 the cats.

Feel like we shouldn't be any worse next season, assuming JamSam, McGruds, Wally all progress.
Losing Denis will hurt, but losing Energy and Lou will help
-
I think losing Denis is going to hurt more than we even think. He created so much this season that nobody else on the roster can.
-
Agreed 100%. Thanks for the season, guys. My disappointment today is only due to the fact that you raised my expectations for your play because you exceeded them most of the season. And in the end, you got as far in the tourney as you were originally supposed to get.
:bball:

Yup, great season. No reason to be ashamed. Good luck next year Cats.

This. I was in the "can't wait for Denis to graduate" camp earlier this year. I'm now a believer. The guy has the heart of a champion and gave us the "it" that you need to go from a talented team to a great team. He will be sorely missed. Most people don't even realize how much impact Denis has on the game. He calls ALL of the plays, sometimes even AGREEING with what Frank calls. The rough ridin' guy is a winner. I love him and miss him already.

Super season. I remember when the preseason predictions came out, and thinking the Cats would be better than people thought. But, I never imagined a top 5 ranking and all of the national media love we got this year.
Seeing Frank go from being viewed as a raging lunatic to the respect he now gets is a huge bonus.
It took me a long time to realize how much Denis means to the team, and, he will be sorely missed. The way he took the team on his back at the beginning of the second half of the Xavier game really showed how much he meant to the team, and, didn't want his KSU career to end.
Some players will need to improve over the off season, and, I think they will. But, when you look at where we were 4 or 5 years ago when we had Cartier and nobody else coming back, I am pumped up for the future of Wildcat basketball.
2010 Cats Hoops team - Thanks for the memories!!
