Joe Wurzelbacher, more commonly known as Joe the Plumber, wants Americans to "admit" they "want a white Republican president again."
"Wanting a white Republican president doesn’t make you racist, it just makes you American," Wurzelbacher wrote on his website Oct. 10.

My dream president would be a gay black female conservative. It would be glorious.

I'd take Condi Rice in a heartbeat. She might be one of the smartest leaders out there that could really help the country by running it. She'll never get the Republican nomination though as she's a woman and black...such a shame

She will be too busy doing important things like selecting the 4 best college football teams.

I think you're wrong. The racist war on women doesn't resonate with conservatives; Its strictly for the low information voter.

Sorry to rain on your racism parade, seven, but HuffPo has now furnished an update....
UPDATE: The remarks in question were not authored by Joe Wurzelbacher. They were posted verbatim to Wurzelbacher's website from The Black Sphere, where they originated.
The Black Sphere (http://theblacksphere.net/2013/10/america-needs-white-republican-president/#BOTSZxPlAVqYyB2X.99) is some sort of blog by a dude named Kevin Jackson, who appears to be... black?
So is Jackson a racist? Or does it only become racist when Plumber Joe posts it? Eff it, I say Plumber Joe is a raaaaacist! He is a Republican (I think) after all.

It makes them both racist.

Stupid, but racist? The premise of the article, the best I can tell, is that republicans want a white republican president because they're tired of bring called racists for criticizing Obama. But if a (I assume somewhat conservative) republican we're elected, there would be far less criticism anyway.
So it's a dumb premise, I assume written by Jackson at least somewhat in jest. Further, nominating a guy like Dr Ben Carson would be fantastic, not just because he's a brilliant, accomplished conservative, but because it would make libtard heads explode.
Keep hunting for racists, though. Maybe go back to that idiot on the Salina City Council, or that senator who used to be a KKK leader.

I agree to a point. I think whoever brings a black female to the RNC expecting a full endorsement has a really tough sell on their hands though...
I'm about as conservative as they come, and I would support her...I can't speak for the majority of the Republican party (old white, rich men) though.

There are as many old white racist misogynist democrats as there are republicans. The media will still be able to pick the democrat candidate, but I think it won't have as big an affect on the republican party nominee this time around. I think most republicans finally realize the media has an agenda that is different than their own.

I just hope the republicans have at least one likeable candidate this time who I can vote for in the primary.

Why didn't you like Romney? And regardless, did you really vote for Obama because you liked him better? JFC. Are you a teenage girl?

I liked Romney more than the other guys, who were generally a collection of jerks and/or dumbasses. He was far from likeable, though, and likeability goes a long way. It goes much further than petty party politics, anyway.

Completely agree. The problem with the last election is that the Republican party didn't have a race horse early enough. They had a bunch of candidates but we couldn't stop campaigning against ourselves quick enough to endorse one person and ride them through the election. It's always been a flaw of the party that needs to stop ASAP if we're going to have a Republican president.

History will not be kind to the current batch of Republicans. Racist, angry, and ignorant is no way to go about life.

michigancat usually does, actually.

LOL. It blow my mind that people who get news from places like the huffpost are typically the same ones out in front bashing foxnews

lol, HuffPo might be the most un-biased news outlet in the country.

i'm 100 percent sure that joe the plumber has no idea what the context of the original blog was and just liked it cause he wants a white republican president too. because he's the typical republican voter (a racist dumbass).

this is similar to how racists love american history x because it shows people talking bad about black people, and they totally miss the entire point of the movie.

The biggest flaw last election was that the Republican candidates were b-listers. Its harder to knock off an incumbent and stronger candidates will avoid it. Pretty much the same thing with Kerry v. Bush.

Anyone want to go racist hunting? Sounds fun!

When I think HuffPo, I think click-bait before I think "liberal".
-
They throw some conservative bones out there every once in a while after the Mail or Guardian has reported something the mainstream has ignored.

Sometimes a stud like Clinton emerges from the B-listers, though. The last two groups of candidates put forth against incumbents have been complete jokes from both sides.

clinton is probably the best candidate ever, really unfair to have to compare everyone after him to him. but thems are the breaks.
