I can appreciate why anyone in their right mind would be totally pissed after last night. But folks let's wait and see..... We may have witnessed UT finally after so many years, playing up to expectations. All eyes on the Red River shootout in two weeks to see if the team is legit. If they beat OU, win the Big XII then K-State was merely the first victim.

KSU has done the same thing by overachieving for past couple of years when people thought their level of talent was inferior. Do you people in Manhattan live in a bubble? The whole nation knew that Texas was going to come out for revenge yesterday, except you people. You really don’t think K-State has had the talent to compete with other Big XII teams do you? Texas may only win one other game this year which could be the Red River Shootout, or they could run the table and live up to the high caliber talent on that team. There are three teams they want to show superiority over, KSU, OU and if they get a chance ATM.
I suspect Texas may show similar aggression the remainder of the season, but for now KSU got what it has doled out to UT for the past several year and OU will see similar aggression. +1 I think they've really gotten away from the tradition of the walk-on program. They absolutely need to devote more time and resources to getting kids that really want to be at K-State on the field. Forget stars, give me a team full of local kids that bleed purple and truly value the opportunity they've been given. That wins ball games. That's what's been wrong with Texas these past few years.
