What a stupid sport.
-
Agreed. The purest sport out there now is Women's Volleyball. You don't see a bunch of Debbie Volleyball's running around in that sport.
-
I mean, the ball isn't even round. How stupid is that?
-
yea, recruiting has ruined the game.
-
They let too many people play at once. Really waters down the competition.
-
Being fat is an advantage for certain positions.
-
Too much down time between actual sports playing time. Football? More like "take a break ball."
-
The South is the best at it and values it the most.
-
No playoffs at the highest level.
-
Players are always getting hurt leading to more shitty players seeing the field, which of course equals a shittier fan experience.
-
They constantly change the rules. Do we have a sport here or don't we? Make up your rough ridin' mind already.
-
Way too many games, too many bowl games, conferences too big, too many televised games
Give me the days of a ten game schedule starting in mid September, one game a week on ABC, six bowl games and absolutely no night games, other than for the schools in the south that have the good sense to not let colored boys play in the SEC and ACC
-
I hope Obannon wins that case and college football just turns into minor league pro ball and is only played in the biggest cities.
-
soccer is the most popular sport in the world by far
-
I like the marching bands
-
ridiculously unsafe
-
Probably responsible for most of the needless aggressive violence in society.
-
College should be about education, not sports.

College should be about education, not sports.
This.
Also, give me a rough ridin' break with this crap about coaches needing to "watch out" for kids and all that fake parental stuff.
When I went off to college, I loaded up the back of my truck (by myself) with all my stuff, kissed my crying parents, hopped in and went off into the world. No one rough ridin' "watched out" for me at school....I did what thousands of other bon-athletes do at college every year.
Jesus these rough ridin' guys.
