The immediate family, still situated in Omaha where Ken is station manager at KIOS (Omaha Public Radio), is eager to take in another game at Kansas State.

Christian’s sister, Kara, just started classes as a K-State freshman. Their mother, Mary, is a K-State graduate. His younger brother, Kyle, is a high school sophomore.

Confirmation exists that they will wear North Dakota State green.

“We had a short talk about it previously,” Christian said. “They’re rooting for me.”
